Today, Nike unveiled the Nike LunarEndor Boot, specifically designed for use in the 2014 Sochi Olympics.

Advertised as "the most technologically advanced snowboard boot available", Nike pulled out all the stops to make a boot fitting of Olympic competition. Featuring responsive Lunarlon cushioning for soft landings and three levels of flex settings, the LunarEndor makes for the most comfortable snowboard boot on the market. Inclusion of a Flywire inner lacing gives the boot a custom glove-like fit for any rider in any condition. The 3-D molded upper made of synthetic leather traps heat to combat even the most arctic conditions Sochi has to offer and the molded spine adds ultimate support and responsiveness.

If the technological advances weren't enough of a head turner, Nike included LED lighting into the swoosh logo, much like they did with the Nike Mag. Powered by a lithium ion battery, the 30 LED lights embedded in Nike's ever recognizable swoosh logo, are easily controlled by a on/off switch located atop the boot's cuff.

Unfortunately, your chance to scoop up a pair of these limited edition boots came and went, as they released in mid December of 2013. The popularity of this boot is clearly evident as we saw multiple boarders lace them up for the 2014 Winter X-Games so keep it locked as Nike will surely be releasing more colorways in the future.
