The new signature shoe from Kevin Durant, Nike KD VI, is a spectacular performance shoe. Although it’s a low cut basketball sneaker, the KD VI still does a great job in keeping your feet secure while taking your game to the next level. From the asymmetrical lacing to the over-lapping tongue you can guarantee that you will be secure when balling in these shoes. For Kevin Durant, the Nike KD VI colorways draws a lot of inspiration from things he has accomplished in his career and his life on and off the court. The recent being the “NYC 66” colorway.

This Nike KD VI draws its inspiration from an outstanding performance he had when he came to Harlem, NY in 2011. His team wore orange as the opposing team wore red. This is was Durant’s first ever visit to Rucker Park as he scored 66 points and dropped 4 straight 3 pointers, igniting the crowd and capping off this performance. People who witnessed this affair couldn’t stop talking about it for years and is now the make-up of this shoe.

The KD VI “NYC 66” colorway will be releasing at Nike retailers for the price off $130 on August 17th.
