To the dismay of thousands, the Duke vs. North Carolina game was cancelled on February 12 due to a snowstorm which made roads impassable and even led to some people abandoning their cars on the highway in attempts to walk to the Dean Smith Center for the game. Insanity? Yes, but this is nothing new for what many consider to be the biggest rivalry in all of sports even surpassing the Yankees and Red Socks or the Lakers and Celtics.

Over the past few week's, Nike has been slowly revealing a set of Hyper Elite uniforms, specially designed for some of the nation's most prestigious college hoops programs. So far we've seen detailed images for Duke, Michigan State, and Syracuse, and now, North Carolina.

Inspired by the 1982 National Champion team led by none other then Michael Jordan, these Hyper Elite uniforms have the vintage look with all modern technology and advances Nike has to offer. Featuring four-way flex technology and laser perforated design elements, the uniforms maximize range of motion and ventilation to keep players cool and comfortable during the game.

Carolina is red hot, winners of their last seven games, including a win over #25 ranked Pittsburgh last weekend. UNC faces off against Duke tonight, but they'll have to wait to debut these uniforms as they're scheduled to wear them for the first time this Saturday when they play fellow ACC foe, Wake Forest.
