Assuming Kobe Bryant scores 9 points tonight against the Timberwolves, he will pass Michael Jordan for third place on the NBA's all-time scoring list.
Last week, you may remember Nike sending out a cryptic tweet teasing us that a new Kobe sneaker would be revealed when Mamba passes MJ for third place. Well, the Lakers just sent out this Vine of Kobe's locker prior to the game featuring a previously unseen Kobe 9 Elite Low colorway. Could this possibly be the sneaker that Nike was alluding to in that tweet? We don't know for sure, but if it is, we are on board with it. It appears as if the sneaker contains a multicolor knit upper on top of a purple outsole with gold Kobe branding. Again, we don't know for sure if this is the shoe, but it's pretty dope either way.
