The NBA All-Star Weekend is not only one of the biggest sporting events of the year, it's also a huge occasion for the sneaker community. With the festivities set to take place in New York City this year, expect a whole of special surprises from a sneaker standpoint.

Overseas, the best players in France will descend upon Paris this weekend for the French league's version of All-Star Weekend. Just like in the states, there is plenty of sneaker heat to accompany the festivities. Nike sent the players NikeiD creations of some of the Swoosh's most popular basketball models like the Nike Kobe 9 Elite Low, LeBron 12, Jordan CP3.VIII, and Jordan Super.Fly 3 to name a few. Each model comes in either a "Volt" or "Red Volt" base depending on which team the player is representing in the All-Star game. While we can expect a lot more fire during the NBA's All-Star Weekend, if Nike's showing in France is any precursor, we are in store for some great sneaker moments in New York come February.

Check out the NikeiD French All-Store Game collection in the gallery above and keep it with Sneaker Report as we get closer to NBA All-Star Weekend in NYC.
