As we await the re-release of Glenn Robinson's signature shoe, let's take a look back into what made the Reebok Rail a shoe to be excited about. As the #1 overall pick in the 1994 draft, Robinson proved that he was a force to be reckoned with on the court. Glenn led all rookies that year with an average of 21.9 points per game, and would go on to average at least 20 points per game for 7 of his 8 seasons as a Buck. As the second all—time leading scorer for the franchise, Robinson proved why "The Rail" was perfect name for his bold and aggressive type of play.
The Rail will make its comeback with its original bold colors, featuring Black / Extreme Purple / Darkest Olive.
For the first time since the shoes original release in 1996, the Reebok Rail will be available at Reebok.com and select retailers on January 31st.
