Last weekend, Kevin Durant revealed in an interview that his sneakers for Christmas Day would be egg nog inspired. Today, as we get images of the Nike KD7 "Christmas," it turns out the reigning MVP wasn't lying.
Just like Durant said, the KD7 "Christmas" comes with a creamish off-white base with a red Hyperposite heel, midfoot strap and Nike Swoosh logo. Giving the shoe some holiday spirit are pops of green on the KD branding and medial swooshes, as well as a speckled midsole meant to represent the spices in egg nog. Now that Durant is back in action, we can rest assured that we will be seeing these sneakers on-court come December 25 when the Thunder take on the defending champion San Antonio Spurs. With both KD and Russell Westbrook back in the fold, that game just became infinitely more interesting.
