In just a little over a month the whole basketball world will gather together in Madrid, Spain for the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup. Today, with a little help from Spain's stars, Nike unveiled what the host nation will be wearing for the international tourney.

Spain will don what Nike bills as the "lightest basketball uniform ever made," the HyperElite basketball kit. Made up of Spain's traditional challenger red and midas yellow colors, Nike looked towards the county's bountiful array of sunshine, or "El Sol," for inspiration.

Both the home and away uniforms feature the name Espana across the chest. A unique 26-degree speed graphic on the side of the jersey and shorts is meant to represent the numerous cuts made by basketball players over the course of the game, which is appropriate for a Spanish team made up of many flashy players.

The kits will be available online and in stores beginning August 2. Four days later, Spain will debut the uniforms on court.
