The history between Nike and the University of Oregon is a long and storied one, going back to co-founder Phil Knight running track for the Ducks in the late 1950's. Knight went on to start Nike with fellow Oregon alum Bill Bowerman, and the relationship began. Nike began outfitting Oregon athletics started manufacturing all school apparel and uniforms, offering up the most innovative and high tech apparel on the market. It's always been suggested that some recruits commit to go to Oregon because of the Nike hookup and how appealing it is, and you can't really blame them.

The Oregon equipment room is something of folklore these days as many wonder what exactly is stored behind the doors. Today, we get an inside look at the Ducks equipment room where you'll find everything from exclusive jerseys, helmets, cleats, and special Jordan's strictly released to Oregon, and some high level friends of Nike.

Just a few weeks ago, Oregon announced they would be holding their annual surplus sale, giving us common folk the chance to get their hands on some left over and additional stock that was only meant for the players. Check out the gallery, and try not to be jealous.
