If it wasn't a sure thing already, it's pretty much official now: advertisements are coming to NBA jerseys.

If the movement of the NBA logo from the front of the jersey to the back wasn't enough of an omen, than the league's new TV deal is. Under the new deal, both ESPN and Turner will share in the revenue from the jersey ads. Apparently, the media partners will either receive a straight payout from the companies or a specific commitment from the companies to buy additional TV advertising during games. For those wondering, NBA teams hold the rights to sell the jersey advertising in the deal, with large market teams like the Lakers expected to fetch more than $10 million for an ad.

So there you have it, whether you like it or not, it looks like your favorite NBA team's jersey is about to get some company.
