John Wall did not make the final cut for Team USA's FIBA Basketball World Cup squad. That doesn't mean, however, that the All-Star point guard isn't getting a little taste of international flavor this offseason.
John Wall tipped off his John Wall Take on Summer Tour in Beijing yesterday, as part of his new signature shoe line with adidas. With the picturesque Wall of China as his backdrop, Wall conducted a slam dunk contest and three-point shooting competition in which the winners received a signed pair of the Wizards star's limited edition Florist City Collection Crazy 1 shoes.
The tour will run through August 28 and is set to make stops in China, Japan and South Korea. Fans will be able to meet Wall through basketball contests, in-store appearances and social media activations.
