Rumors are starting to float around the Internet saying that the Nike Kobe 10 release is near. So far these rumors haven't been accompanied by any photos, which is a bit odd considering how the sneaker rumor cycle usually works. However, today we got the most convincing bit of information yet perhaps confirming the shoe's not too far off arrival.

According to Sneaker Files, Kobe Bryant plans on wearing the Nike Kobe 10 for this year's NBA All-Star Game in New York. The Mecca of Basketball is certainly a great place to debut a signature sneaker, especially given Kobe's illustrious history at Madison Square Garden. Apparently, Kobe has an "All Star" colorway of the sneaker ready to go coming in a "Black/Mulit-Color-Volt" color scheme. Although it's highly likely that Bryant will play in the All-Star Game due to his high popularity, Nike will reportedly still release the shoes even if he isn't selected. If, in fact, the Kobe 10 is on the way, we know it won't come before Christmas, as Kobe's Yuletide sneakers have already been revealed.

Right now, there are no images available of the alleged Nike Kobe 10 "All-Star," but keep it with Sneaker Report for updates as we get closer to the big weekend in NYC.
