In a move that we approve, Nike has gone in a more traditional direction than it did last year for the "Texas" colorway of the KD7, opting for a silver base with Longhorns burnt orange accents.

For last year's "Texas" model, Nike used a black base with mint hues that didn't really go along with Texas' uniforms. This year the shoes are taylor made to the Longhorns' alternate uniforms and we really hope that Texas players take advantage because it could make for a great on-court look. We aren't saying that last year's model was bad, it's just that Texas doesn't really come to mind when you see mint green and black.
