All major brands are joining in on the World Cup fun, even releasing products and that seemingly have nothing to do with soccer. Yesterday we got a look at special "World Cup" Jordan CP3 VII basketball shoe, as well as adidas Skateboarding dropping a special collection of decks inspired by countries competing in the upcoming tournament. Today, we get another possible World Cup inspired sneaker from outside the soccer realm, this time in the form of the Nike Kobe 9 EM.

The model features several blue, yellow, and green patterns all throughout the sneaker, which is very reminiscent of host nation Brazil traditional colors. It's no secret that Kobe is a soccer fan, especially after appearing in multiple spots for Nike, including his cameo in the recent "Winning Stays" short film, so it's no surprise that the Mamba would want a sneaker inspired by the upcoming World Cup.

The Nike Kobe 9 EM "Brazil" is set to hit shelves June 21, right during the thick of the World Cup. Stay tuned to Sneaker Report for more info on the Kobe 9 EM and all future World Cup related releases.
