Spring has officially sprung, which probably means you've been hitting up the local outdoor courts to get your basketball fix these days. A major problem associated with outdoor, concrete courts is not only the pressure and strain it can put on your body and joints, but also the wear and tear it poses on your sneakers. Many of the sneakers on the market today are specifically tailored to indoor use, in the finest conditions, but sometimes fail to consider outdoor play, rendering some of your kicks unwearable as they lack the durability and support.

Nike has recently addressed the problem, but releasing a outdoor version of the popular Zoom Crusader basketball shoe. The Zoom Crusader Outdoor is built using an extra-durable rubber outsole and multidirectional traction, making it ideal for those local playground games. Many people also believe outdoor sneakers lack the technology features, but Nike wanted to disprove that by including a strong and lightweight Hyperfuse upper combined with Flywire to bring down the weight even more. Finally Nike added a Zoom units to the heel, and forefront for added cushioning and responsiveness.

The Nike Zoom Crusader Outdoor is currently available in three colors on Nike.com, with more slated to come out over the next few months.
