It may sound funny, but all of the sudden the Philadelphia 76ers dismal 19-63 season isn't looking so bad. Not only do they have a 19.9 percent chance to win the NBA Draft lottery, but they now boast the 2013-14 NBA Rookie of the Year in Michael Carter-Williams.

Carter-Williams was voted the league's top rookie by an overwhelming margin, receiving 104 out of a possible 124 first-place votes. The first-year point guard averaged 16.7 points this season to go along with 6.3 assists and 6.2 rebounds. Carter-Williams got off to a blistering start during the first week of the NBA season, by capturing the NBA Player of the Week award and never looking back.

Drafted 11th overall by the Sixers out of Syracuse, Carter-Williams signed on to Nike at the beginning of the season and was spotted wearing the Nike Zoom Hyperrev on the court at times this season.

Orlando's Victor Oladipo finished second in Rookie of the Year balloting with 16 first-place votes.
