Clutch players are clutch and that's all that matters. There's no way to define what value they bring to a team, except for big plays when it counts. The Boston Red Sox got some clutch performances from Mike Napoli among others. Napoli hit a home run in the top of the second inning to give the Red Sox a 1-0 lead over the Detroit Tigers as they went on to win 4-3 to take a 3-2 series lead over the Tigers in the ALCS. The NFL season continued as the Seattle Seahawks continued their dominant ways with a relatively easy 34-22 victory over the Arizona Cardinals. Russell Wilson threw for three touchdowns, and Marshawn Lynch rushed for one to get the Seahawks the victory.

The NBA preseason schedule continued, as some interesting games happened, including Carmelo Anthony's win in a return to Baltimore as well as a close victory for the San Antonio Spurs over the Atlanta Hawks. DeMarcus Cousins had a stat sheet filled successful performance for the Sacramento Kings as they defeated the Phoenix Suns 107-90.  Here are The Shoes That Won Last Night.

Game: San Antonio Spurs vs. Atlanta Hawks

The San Antonio Spurs had to have been disappointed after falling just short of winning the NBA championship last year. The Spurs are getting ready to contend again for a championship with their core remaining intact. One of the centerpieces of that core is Tim Duncan, who is entering his 17th season in the NBA. Many people are wondering how long Duncan can last playing in the NBA at the tender age of 37, but if he keeps playing like he did last night he'll be just fine. Also, if he keeps wearing the adidas adiPure Crazyquick he'll be more than alright. The Big Fundamental had 16 points and 8 rebounds in just 19 minutes as the Spurs won a tight contest against the Atlanta Hawks 106-104 in the preseason.
