It seems like everyday there's some big news in the NBA. Nikola Vucevic of the Orlando Magic led Orlando to an upset victory over the Los Angeles Clippers with a 30 point, 21 rebound performance. It's a big win for Orlando as many of us thought they would be terrible this season, but have won three in a row. Paul George once again came through with 21 points as the Pacers handled their division rival Chicago Bulls 97-80. Russell Westbrook was as good as new with 22 points in a 107-93 victory over the Dallas Mavericks. Here are The Shoes That Won Last Night.

Player: Paul George
Game: Indiana Pacers vs. Chicago Bulls

The evolution of Paul George continues to amaze us. The Indiana Pacers All-Star forward has been great early on as the Pacers have remained unbeaten in the NBA this season. George didn't have his best shooting performance at 6-for-19, but he was able to corral 6 rebounds and knock down all 7 of his free throw attempts in Indiana's 97-80 victory over the Bulls. George has displayed an improved ability at getting to the line averaging 6.2 free throw attempts per 36 minutes compared to just 3.3 attempts per 36 minutes last year. That 5-0 start on the season is looking pretty sweet.

Player: Marcin Gortat
Game: Washington Wizards vs. Philadelphia 76ers

The Washington Wizards acquired Marcin Gortat to provide some offense and rebounding to a Wizards team sorely lacking offensive punch. Gortat came through like a Drake song with 19 points and 12 rebounds in the Wizards 116-101 victory over the Philadelphia 76ers. Gortat has been a solid center for the past few years, and with him running the pick and roll with John Wall, expect some nights like this where Gortat produces on the offensive end.

David Lee sometimes gets made fun o for his inability to defend, but he does so many other things well for the Warriors. Lee had a monster 22 points and 15 rebounds in the Golden State 106-93 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves. Golden State is now 4-1 and they can thank their starting lineup including Lee for the hot start. Expect another great season from Lee as he looks to push the Warriors into title contention.

Player: John Wall
Game: Washington Wizards vs. Philadelphia 76ers

What the Wizards need is an elite John Wall to make the playoffs. If Wall plays like he did against the 76ers, the Wizards will be just alright. Wall contributed 24 points, 3 rebounds, and 9 assists in the 116-102 victory over Philadelphia. Wall was making plays and getting into the open floor where he is at his best for Washington. As the Wizards finally won their first game, we saw why so many experts predicted the team to make the playoffs. It just took awhile for that to happen.

Game: Charlotte Bobcats vs. Toronto Raptors

Surprises come in many different shapes and sizes. The Charlotte Bobcats success comes in the form of Gerald Henderson. Despite the Bobcats missing their best player Al Jefferson, they are over .500 with a 3-2 record. Gerald Henderson has played a big part in the successful stretch with 23 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals in the close 92-90 win. The Bobcats were one of the worst scoring teams in the NBA last season, so they need all the offense they can get.
