This week in football featured the same cast of characters in the NFL. Peyton Manning threw 4 touchdowns in a Broncos win and Drew Brees threw 4 touchdowns pushing the Saints to 7-2. Tavon Austin proved his value as an elite swiss army knife player with three touchdowns from two touchdown catches and 1 punt return for a touchdown in the Rams' 38-8 win over the Indianapolis Colts.

Sunday Night was a relatively quiet night in the NBA with just four games on the schedule. Kevin Durant had a massively great game with 33 points, 13 rebounds, and 6 assists in an Oklahoma City win in overtime against the Washington Wizards. The Spurs continued a great run getting to 6-1 by routing the Knicks at the Garden 120-89 in the Shoes That Won Last Night.
