The last time the Clippers faced off against Golden State, it was more like Lob Country than simply a city. Apparently the Warriors took offense to it and simply weren’t with being on the wrong end of a highlight reel this time. GSW coach Mark Jackson is from an old school era and it’s a safe bet he let his team know pre-game to keep the dudes that leap on the ground tonight. When Blake Griffin did get a breakaway, Golden State Jarret Jack hit him with a bit of a shot.
That shot couldn’t stop Griffin, it just seemed to wake him up even more. Wearing the new Jordan Aero Mania Black History Month PE’s, Griffin had one of his most balanced games of the year. The Aero Mania, with it’s use of FlyWire on the upper, mesh tongue and Zoom Air in the forefoot, is essentially an aesthetic remix of the Jordan Aero Flights. Comfortable enough to help Griffin go for 26 points, 13 rebounds, eight assists and three steals. However, the Warriors still pulled on the 106-99 W at home.
