SPOTTED: Bradley Beal is the “Real Deal” in His KD IV PE

Expectations were as high for Bradley Beal as any other top rookie coming into the season, but those high hopes disapeared in DC quicker than DM’s from Manti Te’o’s girlfriend. The Wizard’s started the season without John Wall and had only won four games through December 29th. Beal is good, but carrying a team is a lot to ask of any rookie. Especially a one-and-done.

But as we all know, Wall is back (and bigger than ever). Perhaps having his backcourt mate healthy again has inspired Beal because he’s starting to cook. He’s currently third among rookies in scoring, fourth in steals and fifth in assists. Playing in his KD IV PE’s, Beal has a great fit for his game. Playing with power and driving the lane is his specialty (outside of his pull-up jumper), so the hyperfused upper and midfoot strap provide lockdown when he attacks the basket. Last night, he did just that, scoring 23 points en route to a XXX-XXX win at the Denver Nuggets.
