SPOTTED: CP3 wins MVP of the All Star Game in the Jordan CP3.VI “All Star”

Kyrie Irving looked prime to over this weekend. He had a killer BBVA Rising Stars Challenge game, scoring 32 points, dishing six assists and making Chris Webber lose his composure after delivering the chopped & screwed handles to Brandon Knight. Irving then went on to win the 3-Point contest, a long shot by most people’s pre-game guesses. Simply put, the young fella was making a statement: I’m here to put put it down in the league.

Well, Sunday is reserved for the NBA big guns. All the players who we know by one name. Kobe, LeBron, Melo, KD and CP3. Chris Paul saw everything that Irving did, he remembers what he did to the players at US Olympic trials and he knows how quickly people forget (and argue) over who’s really the leagues best point guard. Other than a playoff matchup, there’s no bigger stage than the All Star game to prove a point. Paul, in his All Star edition signature CP3.VI was everywhere. He racked up a few highlights of his own on his way to 20 points, 15 assists and four steals. Aside from the normal features like the strategic traction pods, the All-Star edition CP3.VI features ultraviolet ink in the upper which in hindsight makes a ton of sense. When it comes to point guards, no one shines brighter than CP3.
