SPOTTED: Rajon Rondo Loses the Game, Wins Twitter Adoration

Let’s keep 100: The New York Knicks owned the Celtics on the road last night to get a 89-86 victory and hand the C’s their fifth loss. It isn’t so that the Knicks dominated Boston (New York only outscored Boston in the second half 39-38), but thy made the right plays in the biggest moments. Carmelo Anthony struggled from the floor most of the night and then 3-for-6 in the fourth quarter. J.R. Smith demonstrated his growing maturation, making a play on the defensive end that caused Paul Pierce to turn the ball over in the final seconds of the game.

Clearly the Celtics didn’t have it together last night, excluding Rajon Rondo who 23 points, 11 assists, 10 rebounds and three steals. Rondo also stood out with his decision to rock a special Nike Max Hyperposite PE. The tweets on his feet-heat didn’t stop, they were truly dope to look at and clearly the tough foamposite upper has become one of his go-to-shoes. Makes sense since he mainly scores in the paint and needs a sneaker with a rugged, durable exterior, that can also brace his landings which the Air Max feature handles better than any other shoe in the game.
