The Moment:
July 11, 2012
Game: Golden State Warriors vs. Miami Heat

Jarrett Jack was brought to Golden State via a As part of a 3-team trade, as the New Orleans Hornets traded him to the Warriors in a move that barely raised an eyebrow. What probably raised more than an eyebrow was when the movers had to move many of Jack's shoes from his home in Atlanta to bring them out to the Bay Area, as the man says he has 1,500 kicks. Yes, 1,500.

However, out of those 1,500 shoes he owns, Jack's favorite shoe to hoop in is the KD IV's. The low-cut shoe is becoming a favorite for not only Jack, but many NBA players nowadays. "Its super light," Jack said, "the shoe still gives me a ton of support but doesn't feel too restrictive on my ankle."

The Moment:
June 28, 2012
Game: 2012 NBA Draft

There were some that were unsure if Draymond Green would be able to make the Golden State Warriors roster after a stellar four-year career as a Michigan State Spartan. However, Green's work ethic and mind for the game helped Mark Jackson find a niche role for the rookie forward. Be it to play lockdown defense, crash the boards, defend the rim and even shoot an occasional three, Green's been Money for the Warriors.

The Warriors started off the season well, with a 14-7 mark headed on the road to face off against the defending NBA champion Miami Heat. ...to score the winning layup with just 0.9 seconds remaining. Green had eluded Shane Battier as Battier tried to hedge as Green countered with a backcut towards the rim. The layup would not only give the Warriors the divisional lead in the standings but would also earned Draymond some respect from LeBron James. James, who was hounded by Green for many stretches during the game, was effusive with his praise of Green.

"He played hard, it was great competition out there between me and him," James said. "I've also respected him especially in college, a big-time player and no one really gave him a shot, but you can tell he knows how to play the game.

Finishing the season with averages of 12.9 PPG, 5.6 APG and 3.1 RPG, Jack finished third in the league's Sixth Man award voting. The Warriors Clinches A Playoff Spot

The Sneaker: Nike Zoom KD V "Superhero" Low
The Moment: Apr. 9, 2013
Game: Golden State Warriors vs. Minnesota Timberwolves

One thing is for sure with this Golden State Warriors squad, this is not the "We Believe" 2007 Warriors that many grew to love as they went on to upset the No. 1 seed Dallas Mavericks in the first round of the playoffs six years ago. While the '07 squad was a team that was mashed together with scrap parts from other teams, this '13 squad is mostly a team of young and talented players like Curry, Klay Thompson and Harrison Barnes, along with savvy veterans like Jack and Andrew Bogut.

Jack's leadership and mentorship has been huge for Golden State, as many of the younger guys have openly spoke about taking their cues from how guys like Jack go to work. Rocking the KD V's here, Jack has mentioned that guys are now competing on whose kicks are the nicest during practices and games, which builds camaraderie amongst teammates.

Golden State's Sleeved Uniforms

The Sneaker: Nike Hyperdunk Plus
The Moment: Feb. 22, 2013
Game: Golden State Warriors vs. San Antonio Spurs

One of the bigger storylines of the 2012-13 NBA season was the unveiling of the Golden State Warriors collaboration with adidas with their sleeved jerseys and total uniform system. While the sleeves took many back to the days of the 1940's and the shorts didn't seem to match the shirts, what did happen was that the players became unified as their feelings towards the uniforms were taken out on their opponents.

When they faced San Antonio on February 22nd, Jarrett Jack went off for 30 points and 10 assists and Draymond Green crashed the boards for 8 huge rebounds. The Warriors would upend the Spurs, who at the time held the best record in the NBA, with the final score being 107-101. The Warriors will have the confidence in knowing that they can hang with the Spurs, and sometimes having the confidence is all you really need.

Draymond Green's Maturation

The Sneaker: Nike LeBron X ID "Game Royal"
The Moment: Apr. 23, 2013
Game: Golden State Warriors vs. Denver Nuggets, Game 2

While talking with Draymond, he noted that the Nike LeBron X was the best basketball shoe he's ever hooped in. He says this in front of me while I scan his locker and there's at least 10 fresh pairs of LeBron X's looking ready to go. "Comfortable," Green says with pride, "I feel like I can do anything in these shoes."

What's also obvious is that Green's become more comfortable in his role with the Warriors. His coach and teammates speak with pride on how much work he's put in on his three-point shot, he's already known for defensive and rebounding prowess and its obvious that everyone on the team just genuinely likes him.

No wonder the Warriors are such a happy bunch these days.

Jarrett Jack's "GOD MODE"

The Sneaker: Jordan CP3.IV
The Game: Feb. 20, 2013 - Golden State Warriors vs. Phoenix Suns

It's a beautiful thing to get into a groove, when everything seems to be going your way. For Jarrett Jack and a stretch of games in February, from what was just the backup guard on the Warriors roster had evolved into something Warriors fans became to know as JACK GOD MODE. Yes, you have to use all caps when you say it. From his irrational pick-up jumpers to an insane ability to just bulldog his way to the hole, when JACK GOD MODE is on then there's no stopping it.

It's Money Time For Draymond in the NBA Playoffs

The Sneaker: Nike LeBron X ID "Golden St. Warriors"
The Game: May 2, 2012 - Golden State Warriors vs. Denver Nuggets, Game 6

With the Golden State Warriors holding a 3-2 series lead over the Denver Nuggets in the first round of the NBA playoffs, the Warriors were at home trying to close out the series. Denver controlled a 2-point lead at halftime and Golden State seemed out of sync. That's when Draymond stepped in. With a 16-point, 10-rebound performance in Game 6, Draymond gave the energy needed to get Golden State over the top.
