Player: Marshawn Lynch for the Seattle Seahawks
Season: 2012
Without context, many would be confused as to why Marshawn Lynch would wear cleats with skittles on the side. It's very colorful, but has to do with Lynch's love for skittles which became a story during 2012 when he was seen eating skittles on the Seahawk sideline. The story dates back to his youth when his mother would give him skittles for energy when he played Pop Warner. Lynch would get fined $10,000 by the league for the cleats. Hopefully, Skittles reimbursed him.
