The Shoes That Won Last Night: Boston Red Sox Take 3-2 Series Lead, Seattle Seahawks Win Third Game in A Row

Previous / Next 1 of 9

We can bet that Boston is planning parades and getting all necessary arrangements ready as the Red Sox come back to Boston with a 3-2 series lead against the St. Louis Cardinals. The Red Sox defeated St. Louis 3-1 behind some big hits from Jacoby Ellsbury, David Ortiz and some great pitching from Jon Lester. With the Red Sox owning the 3-2 series lead, the Red Sox are a near lock to clinch another World Series championship. Will the Cardinals be able to alter that course?

Week Eight officially ended in the NFL season with a Seattle Seahawks 14-9 victory over the St. Louis Rams making this a bad night for St. Louis. The Rams lost on a late-game drive where they failed to get in the end zone to win the game. Russell Wilson threw two touchdowns, and the Seahawks defense had two interceptions. Two seems to be the lucky number of that game. Here are The Shoes That Won Last Night.
