When it comes to college football uniforms it doesn't get much more classic than USC. However, even the Trojans are getting caught up in the chrome helmet trend, as they will don metallic helmets with chrome face masks for their homecoming game with Colorado later this afternoon.
USC was supposed to trot out the highly anticipated helmets earlier in the season against Arizona State, however they were pushed back because chrome face masks weren't quite ready to go. In a way, it workd out better this way, as USC will now have a special occasion to don the new helmets. Unlike most teams that bring out the chrome domes, USC will not have any type of special jerseys, retaining some of their classic look.
