This is happening way too much, lately. Just days after officially dropping Oscar Pistorius and Ray Rice, Nike has suspended Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson's deal with the Swoosh until further notice.

The news comes after Nike pulled a number of Peterson's jerseys off the shelves of its Minneapolis stores yesterday. Because of the suspension, Peterson will no longer receive money from Nike under the terms of his contract. It has been a busy day for Peterson already today, as the Vikings placed the former MVP on the NFL's exempt list this morning, barring him from all team activities.

"Nike in no way condones child abuse or domestic violence of any kind and has shared our concerns with the NFL," Nike spokesman KeJuan Wilkins said. "We have suspended our contract with Adrian Peterson."

Keep it with Sneaker Report as Peterson's situation with Nike continues to develop.
