The NYC Marathon has never been short on celebs, but this year the list of stars signing up is quickly growing.

Pamela Anderson is taking on the 26.2 to raise $500,00 to support Sean Penn's non-profit Haitian Relief Organization, Christy Turlington will run for Every Mother Counts. Other celebrity runners include actor Patrick Wilson, restaurateur Joe Bastianich and author Richard Blais. New York Road Runner's president and CEO Mary Wittenberg comments on the star power "We always look forward to having our celebrity runners be a part of the ING New York City Marathon. Like thousands of our runners, they are adding meaning to their miles by raising awareness and funds for special causes close to their hearts. Each of these notable participants are admirable advocates of healthy living, and exhibit a refreshing sense of determination to take on the ultimate challenge of 26.2 miles."
