Nike Free was first introduced to the world back in 2004, after gaining inspiration from watching Nike-sponsored track athletes train barefoot on a nearby golf course. Designed to allow natural and free moving motion, the Nike Free took the running the world by storm, as runners now had a shoe that responded to each runner specifically while making muscles and feet stronger over time. Ten years later, the impact of the Nike Free series on the running community can not be understated as Nike has released over 20 original designs all at the cutting edge of natural motion and running technology.

Now, Nike is paying homage to the silhouette that launched the Nike Free series and is reissuing the Nike Free OG Superior to commemorate their ten year anniversary. The re-release comes in two colorways to start. The first is a sport royal base with a varsity maize swoosh and white sole, while the second is a more conservative neutral grey with a black Nike swoosh and a yellow sole.

Nike hasn't issued a release date or price as of yet, but check back to Sneaker Report for all future updates as these will surely be on the wish list of many runners.
