Last year Nike launched the We Own the Night run series and it spread like wildfire across numerous European cities as thousands of girls hit the streets to celebrate running, music and friendship. Due to the overwhelming success, Nike is hosting it's second annual We Own the Night series beginning May 10, that will stretch across the streets of Europe's most iconic capitals.

Beginning in London's Victoria Park, thousands of female runners will unite in a celebration of sport, style, design and culture and create a festival like atmosphere throughout the streets of London, Amsterdam, Berlin, Paris and Milan. Each stop on the series includes a 10k run that embodies the spirit of each city and will include after parties featuring live music, DJs and light shows.

For this year's series, Nike will donate €5 (£4 in the UK) from each We Own the Night entry to Women Win, a organization that helps young people become more active each of the WOTN cities.

With so many different/unique races popping up seemingly everyday, we can only hope that Nike tries to coordinate a stateside nighttime race series throughout some of the biggest cities.
