Pure Leather

Yesterday, we teased you with the images for the adidas soccer "Pure Leather" pack. Today, the Three Stripes dropped the limited edition pack, which will be available exclusively at soccer.com.

Consisting of the adizero F50, Nitrocharge and Predator Instinct, all three boots are draped in a K-Leather upper and sport the international logo for leather for a luxurious yet classic soccer look. Despite it's use of the same Sprint Frame soleplate, the "Pure Leather" adizero F50 weighs in a little heavier than usual at 8.1 ounces. This is obviously because of the boot's use of K-Leather rather than synthetic material for the upper. However, the K-Leather upper should form to your foot better than the synthetic upper and should also improve both dribbling and ball control.

The Predator Instinct "Pure Leather" sees a radical change in that it's trademark technology is completely replaced by the K-Leather upper. Like the F50, the Predator Instinct "Pure Leather" does weigh a bit more at 10.8 ounces, but aesthetically it's a beauty. The real highlight of the boots comes in the off centered lacing system which opens up the foot's striking zone.

Rounding out the collection is the Nitrocharge. Both the Energysling technology and rear mesh portion of the cleat are replaced in favor of K-Leather. However, the boot still employs the Energycharge system to give players a boost of energy while sprinting. Without one it's main technologies, though, it'll be interesting to see how the boot performs compared to its OG model.

Check out the adidas soccer "Pure Leather" collection in the gallery above and pick up a pair at soccer.com ranging in price from $210 to $230.
