Just about every major retailer is gearing up for this summers' World Cup in Brazil. All hands are on deck coming up with the latest technologies and apparel for the players to help them perform their best in soccer's biggest tournament. This especially rings true Nike, who's been outfitting players with jersey kits, and boots, including the revolutionary Magista.

Nike is also celebrating 20 years of excellence in football by releasing Nike F.C, a special collection honoring the passion and brilliant play of such soccer legends as Luís Figo, Fabio Cannavaro and Ronaldo. Sneaker Report was at the release of the Nike F.C collection last night, and came across a legendary piece of history.

Featured below is Nike's first ever soccer boot which debuted all the way back in 1971. The boot is a true historical piece and a glimpse into the progression and innovation that Nike has achieved over the past 43 years.
