Nike has announced it will extend it's longterm partnership with the US Soccer Federation into the next nine years, taking the relationship into it's fourth decade.

Nike Brand President Trevor Edwards expands on what the new partnership means for the brand, "Nike is extremely proud to continue our longstanding partnership with US Soccer. The partnership reinforces Nike's leadership in soccer, as we continue to deliver game-changing innovations on the pitch and share the same vision to further grow the sport as a whole in the US."

US Soccer and Nike are currently celebrating their eighteenth year together, as the partnership began in 1995 before the spike of interest in the sport in the late '90s. Notable moments have included the 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup Championship, the US Men's Team reaching the Quarterfinals in 2003, and four Olympic gold medals for the women's team.

Stay tuned for the official announcement from Nike and future news for Nike Soccer.
