A new trend was spotted during the 2014 World Cup, as international stars like Mario Balotelli and Sergio Aguero took the pitch wearing two different colored cleats.

This fashion statement was not unprecedented, though, as the first instance of this happening was back in 1998 at the World Cup in France when Cameroon's Rigobert Song laced up one yellow Puma King boot and one red Puma King boot. To commemorate the historic event, as well as today's budding trend, Puma is releasing a limited edition of the King Top 98 cleat with one yellow boot and one red boot. Even though they are unexpected to be worn at the professional level, look for these limited edition pair of cleats to inspire some crazy color combos at a pitch near you.

The limited edition Puma King Top 98 can be purchased for $200 over at soccer.com. Act fast, however, as there are only 575 pairs available worldwide.
