After Tuesday and last night's games, the third round of the Capital One Cup has come to a close, with round four scheduled for late October. Last night, Birmingham City, Manchester United, Newcastle United, and Stoke City all picked up wins, while West Bronmwich Albion and Arsenal ended in a draw.

On the MLB diamond, Milwaukee's Kyle Lohse was the night's top performer. Lohse pitched a shutout, allowing just two hits over nine innings and striking out five batters along the way. He wore the Nike Air MVP Pro Metal, a model which was spotted on a handful of the night's best players. Continue on to find out who else excelled and what shoes they wore last night.
