Coming off of yesterday's big win against Novak Djokovic, Andy Murray has solidified his role as hometown hero (as if his Olympic gold wasn't enough). If you turned on your tv this morning, you probably saw an interview with the newest Wimbledon champion, as a Sports Illustrated Senior Writer demonstrated yesterday, Murray is in high demand as evidenced on the cover of The Times (shown above).

So naturally the first thing we want to know here at Sneaker Report is how adidas will response to this historic win? Granted his history with the brand, adidas dropped Novak Djokovic in favor for Murray in 2009 and ever since we've seen Murray in Barricades from head to toe at every major tennis event.

Can we expect a signature tennis shoe for Murray? Probably not as this isn't basketball, but it would be nice to see a commemorative shoe to celebrate the first British champ on the home-grass in 77 years.
