The Nike Air Tech Challenge II is best known as Andre Agassi's second signature tennis shoe, attributing to his No. 1 world ranking throughout the '90s in an iconic Hot Lava colorway. With the Australian Open kicking off next Monday, Nike Sportswear has pulled a pretty surprising move by re-releasing the former tennis performance shoe with a white leather upper, 3M swoosh, a tonal blue paint splatter and a suede orange layovers.
The tongue may flaunt Agassi's career wins, but the rest is a radical departure from the original look. We wonder what Andre thinks of this. Yoozers.
