The Zoom HyperCross Trainer is Nike's attempt to bring the Zoom Air hexagonal outsole, previously seen on the LeBron 12, to a training shoe.

Apparently it is also the Swoosh's attempt to make training sneakers wearable again, at least according to designer Nathan VanHook. You most likely know VanHook from being the designer behind the now legendary Nike Air Yeezy II's. The Nike Zoom HyperCross Trainer was originally unveiled in an all "Volt" colorway, which to our guess was against VanHook's liking. With this latest VanHook designed colorway, we are able to get an idea of what is possible with the color blocking of the Nike Zoom HyperCross Trainer. If this colorway is any indication, the HyperCross Trainer's future looks very bright from a color blocking standpoint.

Check out the VanHook designed Nike Zoom HyperCross Trainer below and keep it with Sneaker Report for details regarding a release date.
