Fresh off the release of his critically acclaimed album Life is Good, Nas sat down with NiceKicks this past weekend at Rock the Bells to talk retro style.

On the Mary J. Blige assisted "Reach Out", Nas raps "My British Knights could rival your Foamposites, don't make me pull my Lotto's out the closet". Although this nod to classic foootwear may confuse the younger listeners, many older heads appreciate the nostalgia Nas provides.

Lotto Sport Italia was founded in 1973, and by the 80's became a frontrunner in the footwear industry. Most popular amongst tennis and soccer players, Lottos were also a smart option for the streets, as touched on by Nas in the video. With the ability to easily change the accent colors, Lotto sneakers could be paired with any outfit and as the brand continues to deliver sweet soccer kicks today.
