If you thought New Balance’s limited edition 860v3 “runDisney” shoe was impressive, wait until you see what NB has lined up for Disney fans next year.
Following a successful run of the 860v3 “runDisney” in 2013, NB will roll out an updated version of the shoe for next year’s runDisney race series. The 89v4 “runDisney” is expected to feature a print inspired by Sorcerer Mickey (for the men’s version) and Pink Minnie (for the ladies), and is all about making the shoe look and feel like real life Disney characters. For the first time, NB will also make the shoe available in kids sizes (go figure).
While the final product is still under wraps, NB and runDisney have teamed up to release a behind-the-scenes video of the shoe that details the design process behind making it come to life. Take a look.
