Under Armour is switching things up with their running line, and it looks like they started at the sole.

Our first look at the latest running model from Under Armour comes in a look we've never seen from the brand before. Dubbed the UA Scorpio, the shoe appears to be a sample runner that features an all new outsole pattern and design. Similar to the Reebok ZJet and Nike's Hex-Zoom cushioning, the UA Scorpio has individual outsole pods which should give a greater amount of flexibility and cushioning. The upper appears to be made from ClutchFit material or another breathable mesh that would keep the shoes lightweight, supportive and breathable.

Since this is the first look at the UA Scorpio we have no official tech specs or release information, but keep it locked and let us know what you think of Under Armour experimenting with their running line.
