While Nike and Under Armour steal all the headlines, as they haggle over Kevin Durant, adidas is quietly assembling a young roster of talent.

Today, the three stripes brand signed Memphis Grizzlies guard Jordan Adams and San Antonio's Kyle Anderson to their basketball roster. The two former UCLA players bring the total number of first round picks signed by adidas this summer to six, including first overall pick and recently traded Andrew Wiggins.

Besides the rookie signings, it has already been a big summer for addias from a basketball standpoint, as the company brought its energy-returning boost technology to basketball with the help of stars Derek Rose and Damian Lillard, as well as unveiled a signature shoe for All-Star Point Guard John Wall.

So, Nike and Under Armour may be getting all the attention this summer, but adidas is quietly doing some big things.
