If day one of the NCAA Tournament was a preview into the Madness that is NCAA basketball in March, day two was the actual realization of that opinion. Mercer became first round sweethearts after disposing of the heavily-favored Duke Blue Devils. North Carolina pulled out an unlikely rally against the Providence Friars behind 19 points and 4 assists from Marcus Paige. Also, Stephen F. Austin became an exciting story with a four-point play from Desmond Haymon taking what looked like a loss to overtime and a victory over VCU.
There were some great moments and some great shoes to complement what was an overall great day. The shoes included everything from retros like the Nike Air Flightposite "Carbon Fiber" and the Jordan XI "Gamma Blue" to the latest models like the adidas Crazy Fast 2 and the Nike Kobe 9 Elite. Check out the Best Performing Shoes of Day 2 in the NCAA Tournament.
