Last night the Los Angeles Clippers beat the Houston Rockets 101-93, in what could be a future Western Conference playoff matchup.
Chris Paul hit the hardwood wearing a custom version of his Jordan CP3.VII designed by his biggest fan, 11-year-old Massai Walker. Joining in a recent trend of fan design contests like we've seen from athletes including Kobe Bryant, Damian Lillard, and Tiger Woods, Paul let fans join in on the creative process to develop a one of a kind colorway. The iD PE, dubbed the Jordan CP3.VII "Hero Status", is available on NIKEiD, and features a University Blue camouflage upper, Atomic red shoelaces, and a Game Royal outsole.
Paul flirted with a double-double last night finishing with 14 points and 9 assists, keeping the Clippers at the top of the Pacific Division.
Keep an eye out for more fan design contests, as we've seen that CP3 is a huge fan of NIKEiD, often ordering by the truckload.
