The adidas Supernova Glide 6 Boost got a ton of exposure as the training shoe of choice for Caroline Wozniacki in the lead up to her New York City Marathon run. Today, adidas unveiled the redesigned seventh edition of the runner.

The biggest upgrade in the shoe comes via the women's silhouette with a redesigned sleek upper. Specifically designed for the female runner, the adaptive Techfit upper provides a smoother silhouette that's more "flattering" to the female foot. The updates to the men's shoe are a bit more subtle and include a more lightweight midfoot and forefoot overlay to supply a more secure fit.

“We’ve tailored the Supernova Glide Boost to meet women’s physical and aesthetic needs without compromising any of Supernova’s trusted technology,” said Adrian Leek, General Manager of adidas Running. “This new approach to Supernova design allows us to fully celebrate the beauty of women’s running with style-driven performance.”
