How adidas' Xenopeltis Reflective Material Could Change the Running Game

There's a nice little battle brewing between the Nike Roshe Run and the adidas ZX Flux for casual shoe supremacy. In the latest attempt by one of the companies to one up each other, adidas has introduced an innovative reflective material to the ZX Flux that could change the game entirely.

Besides just getting a leg up on the Roshe Run, this new reflective material could change how performance gear is made as well. If adidas were to a design a running shoe featuring both their Boost technology and this new reflective material, it could make for a revolutionary sneaker. Inspired by the Xenopeltis snake, the material features an iridescent color-fade with vivid light. By applying this technology to their apparel, adidas could go a step further by creating a nighttime running collection that prevents you form looking like a construction worker.
