If you don't know anything about tennis, you still know about Andre Agassi.

Raised in Las Vegas by a tennis-obsessed father and sent off to the Bollettieri Tennis Academy in Florida by the age of 15, Agassi had signed a two year Nike deal shortly after his sixteenth birthday in 1986. The story continues with Agassi ranking No. 1 in the world as one of the '90s most dominant players with eight Grand Slams and Olympic gold under his belt.

Even if you've never witnessed a Sampra vs. Agassi matchup or that legendary commercial, you know Agassi by his rebellious style on the tennis court. Taking McEnroe's Nike cast-offs (McEnroe passed up those denim shorts... when are those re-releasing?) played to Andre's favor as his signature shoes continue re-release today. The latest being the Air Tech Challenge II, originally designed for tennis' most competitive stage is now welcome to the street.

This colorway abandoned the famous "Hot Lava" look for an Australian Open themed colorway. The Air Tech Challenge II debuts today at 21 Mercer and Dover Street Market in New York.
