Nike teamed up with Atlético de Madrid to showcase their latest home uniform kit that was inspired by 1975 Intercontiental Cup win, making them champions of the world for the first time ever.

Honoring possibly the greatest moment in the clubs history, the latest home kit from Nike will be worn on the 40 year anniversary of the triumpant day. The jersey features the saem design worn by the team in 1975 with three distict stripes on the front and the back, as well as a white box to display players' numbers. However, Nike brought the uniform kit to the modern era by adding in a tonal background chevron graphic across the front and made the kit with Dri-Fit technology to keep players cool and dry. Some touches were added to the kit to commemorate the 1975 achievement including the Spanish flag along the inside the neck along with the words, "Campeón del Mundo 1975" (or Champion's of the World).

The latest Atlético de Madrid home kit will be available at the club's official team store, and at Nike in Spain beginning June 6, and everywhere else June 26.
