While the Miami Heat, Indiana Pacers, San Antonio Spurs, and Oklahoma City Thunder took the night off to prepare for this weekend’s Conference Finals showdowns, action was in full swing on the MLB diamond on Friday. Last night’s biggest wins included Milwaukee over Miami, as the Brewers look to get back into the groove they had established earlier in the season. Their offense was powered by Mark Reynolds and Carlos Gomez, who combined for 6 RBIs and 4 runs in the 9-5 win. Around the league, the Detroit Tigers (pictured) held onto the best record in the MLB with a 7-2 thrashing of the Rangers as they improved to 28-16. It’s still early, but it looks like Detroit and Oakland are going to be the teams to beat in the AL.
